Dance Sweep: June 8, 2013...

I'm up to the last of today's "chart sweeps" of the new songs reaching the Billboard charts, and now we're up to the latest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio...

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Play chart, Daft Punk race to #1 with "Get Lucky", making it their fourth chart-topper...

There's eight new songs on the chart, and of them the winner at #41 is R&B singer Ciara with "Body Party"...

Inaya Day and DJ Escape are back at #43 with "Make Some Noise".

An act called Monsta debuts at #45 with "Messiah"...(NSFW for disturbing images), my "Dance Pick of the Week"...

K-Pop novelty act PSY is back on the dance chart at #46 with "Gentleman"....

Vegas singer D'Manti comes in at #47 with "Let's Just Dance" - unfortunately there's neither a video or audio clip of it. Boo! She does a lot of Pride events, so that's great, but get that video out!

Canadian singer Mia Martina, who sang on the top-10 Canadian alternate version of "Stereo Love" by Edward Maya, comes on the US chart at #48 with "Heartbreaker", a top-20 hit in her home country...

Pop/rock outfit OneRepublic are in at #49 with the remixes of their hit "If I Lose Myself", featuring remixer Alesso...

The final club entry at #50 is Dutch DJ/producer Armin Van Buuren with vocalist Trevor Guthrie with "This Is What It Feels Like"....

Over on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay/Mixshow chart, Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" also commands the top spot for a second week.

Selena Gomez arrives on this format at #21 with "Come And Get It", her top-10 pop hit...

..while the aforementioned OneRepublic track is the other entry at #24....

Well, that does it for this week's chart sweeps... Thanks so much for dropping by, and I'll return tomorrow with another Song of the Day, part one of this week's "album sweep", and my British chart recap. Have a great night!
