Country Sweep: June 29, 2013...

Part four of this week's "chart sweeps" are up, checking out the latest songs making the radio charts at Billboard magazine, and this time I've got the newest on country radio...

On the Hot Country Airplay chart, Blake Shelton racks up a 14th #1 hit on the chart (and ninth consecutive) with "Boys 'Round Here"...

Barreling in at #26 (meaning somebody probably paid someone off) is Toby Keith with his latest, "Drinks After Work". He hopes to add to his collection of 20 #1 hits...

Married duo Thompson Square follow up their second #1 hit "If I Didn't Have You" at #50 with "Everything I Shouldn't Be Thinking About". It's my "Country Pick of the Week"...

The Eli Young Band preview their next album with "Drunk Last Night" at #57. Their last album scored two chart-topping singles with "Crazy Girl" and "Even If It Breaks Your Heart"...however, there's no clip yet for the song....boo! All there is is this BAAAD live clip..

The final debut at #60 is Taylor Swift with the title track from the album Red...

That does it for the country end of the music spectrum...I'll finish things off in 90 minutes with the newest dance jams in the clubs and on the radio....Twang on!
