Hey gang...I'm back with another weekly trip across the ocean to check out the new songs making the official music chart in France this week, as Daft Punk hang on for a fourth week with "Get Lucky"...

French rapper Maitre Gims now has two singles in the top-5 as his former #1 hit "J'me Tire" is joined at #4 by his next single "Bella", my "French Pick of the Week"...

 French electronic-pop act Jabberwocky debut at #32 with "Automaton"....

Lana del Rey's song from the revamped Great Gatsby movie, "Young And Beautiful", arrives on the chart here at #37, making her fifth top-40 hit here. Her international hit "Video Games" made it to #2...

Ex-American Idol diva and judge Mariah Carey returns at #41 with "#Beautiful" featuring Miguel. Surprisingly, Mimi has never had a #1 hit in France - the closest she came was with her cover of "Without You" which topped out at #2...

Jamaican reggae singer Gyptian places his 2010 single "Hold You" on the chart here for the first time at #45. It formerly was a top-20 hit in the UK three years ago...

Bruno Mars enters the top-100 at #53 with his third single from Unothodox Jukebox, "Treasure"...

The Voice is also being aired in France right now, and two of their top performances debut this week. First Olympe (who already is at #68 with his version of Lana Del Rey's "Born To Die") enters at #72 with his take on Madonna's "Frozen", while Anthony Touma is at #73 with Thierry Amiel's "Les Mots Bleus". Sadly, neither of these are available on YouTube - boo!

Dutch EDM act Showtek arrive at #84 with "Slow Down"...

American hip-hop power-duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis enter at #89 with their 2011 track  "And We Danced"...

Parisian electrofunk duo Justice sneak in at #90 with "Helix", their fourth single from Audio, Video, Disco to make this country's top-100. The first, "Civilisation", went all the way to #5..

The final entry of the week at #94 is American soul/bluegrass musician Valerie June with "You Can't Be Told"...
