Dance Sweep: June 1, 2013...

Well gang it's time I finish up today's "chart sweeps" of the new songs making it on to the Billboard singles charts with the latest dance jams out there....

On the DJ-polled Hot Dance Club Songs chart, Christina Aguilera racks up another #1 hit with "Let There Be Love"...

Returning after a six year break from the chart is Chaka Khan, who has the highest debut of the week at #40 with "It's Not Over" featuring Christian rap artist LeCrae. Chaka has topped the club list six times so far, the last being "Disrespectful" in 2007...

Londoner Mat Zo and North Carolina native Porter Robinson collaborate at #42 with "Easy", my "Dance Pick of the Week"....

Sebastian Ingrosso, 1/3 of the recently disbanded Swedish House Mafia, returns at #43 with "Reload" with Tommy Trash and John Martin (who was the vocalist on the SHM megahit "Don't You Worry Child")..

San Francisco dance/rap act Wallpaper. are back at #46 with their latest, "Good 4 It"..

Singer/actor Jason Dottley (husband of Sordid Lives writer Del Shores) has the last entry at #49 with "It's Our Night"...

Meanwhile, on the radio-monitored Hot Dance Airplay chart, Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams climb to the top with "Get Lucky", and there are no new songs on the list...

That does it for tonight...thanks for stopping by, and I'll be back tomorrow with another Song of the Day and the first half of this week's "Album Sweep". Have a great night!
