Country Sweep: May 4, 2013...

Part four of this week's five-part "chart sweeps" is up now, with the latest country songs making the charts in Billboard magazine.

On the Hot Country Airplay chart, Lady Antebellum hang on for a second week at #1 with "Downtown"...

There are only two new records on the chart this week, and the first at #59 is American Idol winner Scotty McCreery with "See You Tonight". It's the first single from his upcoming second album - his debut produced two top-20 hits with "I Love You This Big" and "The Trouble With Girls"...

Arriving at #60 is Chris Cagle with the third single from his Back In The Saddle album, "Dance Baby Dance". The first two, "Got My Country On" and "Let There Be Cowgirls", both reached the top-20, and this is my "Country Pick of the Week".

That's it for this short but sweet "sweep"...I'll close things out in an hour and a half with the newest dance jams on the radio and in the clubs...Twang on!

"Dance Baby Dance" may be Chris's best chance at a Top 10 from this album. I can't help but root for him, having been a fan from way back.
