twostepcub's music chart for December 28, 2012...

Hey gang, it's the end of the workweek, and time for my top-100 tunes for this Christmas week. Ne-Yo hangs on to #1 for a second week, while Pink (pictured above airing herself out) moves closer to the top-10. Songs by the Lumineers, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Avicii with Lenny Kravitz make the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while former big hits by Train, Miranda Lambert, Kristine W, and Taryn Manning drop out. A gnome?

There are eight new songs on my final chart for the year (highlighted in blue), and you can click on any of the artists to be connected to their official website. And after the break, here they are...

(Click below to see the rest of the post)

The top entry this week is by singer/actress Frenchie Davis, who went from being on American Idol to a notable stage career, most famously in Rent, before appearing on The Voice and finishing fifth. She's already had a top-5 dance single as a featured artist on Tony Moran's "You Are" from 2010, and now she's back with her own amazing debut solo hit, "Love's Got A Hold On Me"...

Florida hard rockers Shinedown get the third single from their latest album Amaryllis on my list with "Enemies". The first, "Bully", showed up on my Top 100 for the year...

As Hunter Hayes' breakthrough hit, "Wanted" moves up my chart in its 21st week, his followup, "Somebody's Heartbreak" joins it..

Another act with two songs on my list this week, Irish rock group The Script succeed "Hall Of Fame" with "Six Degrees Of Separation"...

Jason Mraz took "I Won't Give Up" to #1 on my chart this past year, and now he's back with "93 Million Miles". The former hit still has yet to show up on my year-end recap, but it will...as for this one, it's the third big video to feature Red Rocks (after Mumford & Sons and Train)...

R&B singer Avant last appeared on my personal chart way back in 2003 with "Read Your Mind", and he's back at #94 with "You & I" featuring KeKe Wyatt from the R&B Divas "reality" show on TVOne...it's good to see him back...

Now that Tim McGraw has settled his issues with his former record company, he's back with a new track, "One Of Those Nights"...

The last debut is the first hit by Swedish EDM duo Cazzette, with "Beam Me Up (Kill-Mode)" complete with a high-end invasion-style video...

Well that's it for now...Thanks so much for coming, I'm still counting down my top-100 songs of the year, and you can check it out by clicking here.

Tomorrow I'll have another Song of the Day, Candletime, and my five-part "chart sweeps" of the latest songs to make the Billboard charts. See you then!
