twostepcub's music chart for December 2, 2011...

Hey folks, I'm finally done my midnight shift, and it's time for my top-100 tunes for the week. This week Adele spends an eighth week in the top spot, while Rihanna and Calvin Harris (pictured above) jump into the top-5. The biggest leaps go to Beyonce, the Black Keys, and Flo Rida (moves of 10+ places highlighed in red), while a former big hit by Gloria Estefan drops out. Link-o-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on any of the highlighted artist's names to go to their official website (rightclick, and you can keep this page up and use a different tab or window). Booyah!

After last week's debut motherload, this week is rather skimpy with four new songs (highlighted in yellow), and here they are, along with a little about the artists with links to their previous hits in orange.

The highest entry (and by far the biggest hit coming in) is the latest by Enrique Iglesias, who has been enjoying quite a resurgence with his "Jersey Shorified" makeover with big hits like "I Like It" and "Tonight I'm Lovin' You". He's back with a song that's pretty much the same as those two, even employing rapper Pitbull in the mix with "I Like How It Feels". The tune's doing well in the clubs, but how many times can he go to that well? We'll see...

Kansas-born singer James Wesley (Prosser) follows up his first hit "Real" with another slow-burn single that also has been hanging around the country radio chart for over 30 weeks. Here's "Didn't I"...

English boyband and X Factor UK runners-up JLS almost doubled the amount of #1 hits they have over winner Alexandra Burke (they have 5, including "Beat Again" and their US club crossover "She Makes Me Wanna") with this song that made the UK singles chart runner-up position, "Take A Chance On Me"...

The final debut is from young country superstar Taylor Swift, who achieves the rare feat of having all tracks from her latest CD Speak Now Deluxe Edition chart (that's 17 of them) including four that made the all-genre top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart - radio singles "Mine" and "Back To December", as well as the title track. The latest rockets into the top10 courtesy to the song becoming generally available after being only on a target exclusive. Here's "If This Was A Movie"...

Niters!
