twostepcub's music chart for September 9, 2011....

LinkHey folks, still stuck at home recouping, and reflecting on today's poignant 10th anniversary, but taking a break for my top-100 tunes for the week. This week Katy Perry hangs on for a fifth week at the top, while Beyonce (pictured above) makes it into the top-10. Tracks by Theory Of A Deadman, Blush, and David Guetta have the biggest jumps (moves of 10+ places highlighted in red), while a former big hit by Selena Gomez drops out. Link-o-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on any of the highlighted artist names to go to their website. Never Forget...

There are 7 new songs on my list (highlighted in yellow), and the highest new entry is by DJ/Remixer Dave Aude. Best known for remixing a tons of other artists hits, Aude can claim three #1 dance club hits of his own - "Make It Last", "Grass Is Greener", and my personal favorite, "Figure It Out". His latest finds vocalist Elijah supporting him for "Holdin' On"...

Miranda Lambert's last CD Revolutions produced her three biggest hits, the #2 "White Liar" as well as country charttoppers "Heart Like Mine" and the Grammy-winning "The House That Built Me". Her first preview of her upcoming work is "Baggage Claim"...

Lebanese-born Mika currently calls England his home, and his biggest success chartwise has been in the UK, with five top-10 hits like my faves "Love Today" and "We Are Golden". However, these days after receiving the Knighthood for the Arts, he has a special place for his French fans, and his new single is the totally Francophile "Elle Me Dit" (She Tells Me)...

Cuban eye-candy Mayra Veronica graduates from her Univision gig and her second top-10 Billboard Dance Club hit after "If You Wanna Fly" with the dirtier "Freak Like Me" featuring her plagiarizing "Womanizer" all over Antonio Sabato Jr...

Dev (aka Califonian Devin Tailes) already is climbing my list supporting JLS on "She Makes Me Wanna", her 2nd such gig after her US charttopping turn with the Far East Movement on "Like A G6". Earlier this year she snuck into the UK top-10 with "Bass Down Low", and now finally makes my list as a lead with "In The Dark"...

House singer Amoray has a top-40 dance hit earlier this year with "Jack It Out". With his followup he makes it all the way top-20 with "Give It"...

The final new entry is by British rapper Wretch 32, who follows his top-5 hits "Traktor" and "Unorthodox" with his first UK #1, "Don't Go", featuring vocalist Josh Kumra...

One more song re-enters my list, here's the Vegas-tastic clip for Calvin Harris' "Bounce" featuring Kelis...

Always remember...
