Cee U Next Tuesday winner of the week....Shalom-Wow!

This week's Cee-U-Next-Tuesday award recipient, for female excellence in the male-dominated field of douchebaggery, goes to California Republican gubernatorial candidate Carly "I Fucked Up IBM, so vote me in!" Fiorina, for sending out a Passover letter to her supporters which read...

This week, as we break bread and spend time with our families and friends, I hope we also take a moment to say a word of thanks for our freedom and for those who have given their lives in freedom's name. Let us also look ahead with hope to the opportunities to come.

um, yeah.

Carly Simonona? The basis FOR Passover was that they don't have bread, in honor of the Jews fleeing Egypt who couldn't wait for the bread to rise. Why don't you just tell them to enjoy the ham, as well?

And instead of just apologizing, she releases a pandering followup email saying she meant ALL bread, including Matzo. Yeah. because saying "matzo" would possibly offend your Jesus Freaks you so are amazingly still hopeful for. Good luck with that.

For your award, you get a chocolate swastika made from the crappy stuff. Hollow. Like Palmers. Actually, hollow, like you.

twostepcub's music chart for March 26, 2010...

Hey everyone, it's a stormy Palm Sunday, and time for my tunes for the week. I'm sorry about missing last week, as I was volunteering at the GLBT expo in New York. This week ten new songs enter my chart, and three more re-enter. All the way at #59, Rihanna now has three of her singles from her latest album, Rated R, on the list at the same time, with "Hard" at #15 and "Russian Roulette" at #27. "Rude Boy" is the best track on the album, and has a great 80's retro video, and the US #1 and UK#2 single makes her highest debut....

English dance singer Livvi Franc places her second chart song, as the followup to the 2sc top-40 "Now I'm That Bitch" is scaling the Dance Club chart. It's "Automatik"...

American Idol runner-up from its sixth season, Blake Lewis, has carved a low-key but respectable alt-dance career, and the second release from his sophomore album is in my opinion his best yet. Here's "Heartbreak On Vinyl"...

Melissa Etheridge has become an icon for female and gay/lesbian rockers, and her latest album is previewed by the uplifting "Fearless Love"...

David Guetta dropped out with his top-5 hit "One Love", while his previous #1 hit "Sexy Bitch" is still hanging around. The fourth single from his "One Love" album features rapper Kid Cudi of "Day N Nite" fame, on "Memories"...

Super-producer Timbaland is back with two songs on my chart - while "Morning After Dark" with Nelly Furtado & SoShy re-enters up at #77, his collab with Justin Timberlake debuts as well. Here's "Carry Out"...

Perennial "Hat Act" George Strait brings some traditional country back to the chart with "I Gotta Get To You"...

Say what you want, but 77-year-old Yoko Ono is STILL a powerhouse on the chart, as her tenth, count 'em, tenth single from her Open Your Box album hits the dance chart, and makes my chart as well. It's a remake of her track from Double Fantasy with John Lennon, it's "Give Me Something"...

and the last "new" song is by country hottie Lee Brice, and the single from his forthcoming album, it's "Love Like Crazy"...

The Brooklynite has hit #1 on Billboard's dance chart seven times in the last 15 years, with songs like "I Get Lifted" and most recently "Love Vibrations", which made my top-30 three years ago. her latest is the uplifting "Feelin' Like A Superstar"...

Belgian duo AnnaGrace, formerly part of the group Ian Van Dahl, score their third consecutive Billboard dance radio #1 with "Love Keeps Calling"...

Jason Derulo has a prime tour spot opening on Lady GaGa's tour, as his second single "In My Head" is in the US top-10 and made #1 in England...

Japanese-American singer Utada has crossed over to the US dance charts, placing three songs in the top-20, and one "Devil Inside" from 2004, all the way to the top of Billboard's club play list. Her latest is "Dirty Desire"...

British band Snow Patrol have scored 10 top-40 singles in the UK, including the worldwide phenomenon "Chasing Cars". The group's latest, "Just Say Yes", previews their greatest hits set Up To Now.

Alan Jackson has carved a long and respectable career, including ten #1 country albums and 25 #1 country singles. His forthcoming album Freight Train will be coming out at the end of this month, and the first single is "It's Just That Way"...

The Haiti Charity single "We Are The World 25" drops out this week, to be replaced by the (somewhat) British counterpart, organized by Simon Cowell. It's a remake of the classic R.E.M. song "Everybody Hurts", and includes singers like Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Miley Cyrus, Jon Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams, and my personal fave Kylie Minogue. It's available in the States, so go buy this single and support the cause...

and finally, Italian dance outfit Flanders is back with the hipshaker "Time"...

and as a bonus, and since I like it so much, here's the clip for the song that re-enters, Deadmau5's "Ghosts N Stuff"...

Nite Nite!

This week there are ten new entries to the chart, and the highest is my an artist who already has a climbing single on the list. Adam Lambert's "Whataya Want From Me", his second single, has grown at pop radio, while his first finally found a home in the clubs, as the dance remix is scaling the chart. Here's "For Your Entertainment"...

Colbie Caillat's sophomore single from her sophomore album was co-written by Caillat along with American Idol judge Kara Dioguardi. It's a departure from her usual breezy pop styling, venturing into a blue ballad about heartbreak. Here's "I Never Told You"...

Dance music artist Matt Schwartz, from Israel, has recorded under many monikers, most notably as Deepest Blue, one of my faves from a few years back. This time around it's M'Black, and the song is "Heartbreak"...

The next song off is a party. It includes rap group Three 6 Mafia (who won an Oscar for "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp")join up with Dutch DJ Tiesto (who will also have another song of his own debut), Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston, and American rapper Flo Rida for a dance-rap jam in the "C'mon Ride The Train"/"Whoomp There Is Is" vein. It's "Feel It"...

Country group Rascal Flatts have released a special version of the title song from their latest album Unstoppable to promote the Vancouver Olympics, and here is the result...

And as promised, here's DJ Tiesto from Holland with another debut, this time paired with singer/actress C.C. Sheffield with "Escape Me"...

Country singer Eric Church's fifth 2sc charting single is he rocking "Hell On The Heart"...

And 25 years after the classic charity single from USA for Africa, Quincy Jones brings together 80 artists (well, if you consider Vince Vaughn an "artist") for a remake of "We Are The World" to benefit the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti. One may question the quality of the remake, especially given godawful Justin Bieber starts it off, but the intention is quite worth it, and worth going and buying the single or donating at YouTube to support the cause...

...to something totally as un-serious as you can get, Justin Moore follows up "Small Town USA" with "Backwoods", proving his marketing skills to the WalMart crowd complete...

And finally, the joy or bane of many in the UK. Simon Cowell's X Factor produced some great singers like Leona Lewis and Alexandra Burke, but as vote-in shows can produce headscratchers, Britain's version of Sanjaya comes in the twin brothers of John and Edward Grimes, or Jedward, who astonishingly went quite far without any good singing ability, but a vivaciousness that thrilled teenage girls (and scarily pedophilic old men). The singlehandedly brought back Vanilla Ice in the UK, with a mashup of Queen's "Under Pressure" to the tune cribbed from that, Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby"...

And that's all she wrote!
