twostepcub's music chart for September 2, 2010

Hey folks, I'm back from Kansas City and it's overdue for my top tunes for the week. This week Sara Bareilles takes over the number one spot, while Maroon5 (pictured above) rocket into the top-5. There are ten new songs on my list, and the first one is by rap artist Flo Rida, who teams up with the dance producer of the moment, David Guetta, with a song made for the movie Step Up 3D. Here's "Club Can't Handle Me"..

Next up is Ne-Yo, who is back with another Dance/R&B jam in the Usher/Chris Brown vein. Here's "Beautiful Monster"...

Adam Lambert follows up his #1 hit "Whataya Want From Me" with the leather and eyeliner bounce of "If I Had You"...

Washington state powerhouse The Gossip returns with the bongo-driven "Pop Goes The World"...

Nelly Furtado's latest CD "Mi Plan" mixes influences from Spain and Latin America, and already has produced a hit with "Manos Al Aire". Now she gets some help from Spanish singer Concha Buika for "Fuerte" ("Strong")...

Australian chanteuse Giulietta has her first hit with the dance jam "Vertigo"...

Yoko Ono just won't stop. She's 77, and still another remix of one of her old song is shooting up the dance chart, in it's original incarnation its a swing, but it's been remade into a dance jam. Unfortunately, the only version up on Youtube is the original...sooooo here it is..

Country group Rascal Flatts previews their first CD for their new label Big Machine with "Why Wait"...

French DJ Bastian Laval debuts with a dance jam NOT producted by David Guetta. Imagine! Here's "Restlessness" featuring Layla..

and finally, Florida rock band Anberlin, who had the biggest Modern Rock song of last year with "Feel Good Drag", are back with the second song in this week's top-100 titled "Impossible"...

Peace out and back to work...
