twostepcub's music chart for August 27, 2010...

Hey guys, it's the start of my vacation, and time for my top 100 tunes for the week. This week Kylie Minogue has a third week on top, while the Zac Brown Band (pictured above) make it into the top-5. Former big hits by Ryan Star, David Guetta, Adam Lambert, and Three Days Grace drop off, while songs by Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, and Dave Aude make the biggest moves. Link-O-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on any of the highlighted artists to go to their website (rightclick to use another window or tab and keep this one up). Let the games begin!

This week ten new songs find their way onto my list, and the highest debut is the female singer from Barbados that isn't Rihanna, Shontelle, with her latest ballad, "Impossible"...

Next up is the group OneRepublic, who follow up their top-10 "All The Right Moves" with a song that originally was a smash in Germany. Like the Hoff. Ahem. Here's "Secrets"...

Country uberduo Sugarland is back but delightfully stripped down (musically) with the reggae-tinged "Stuck Like Glue"...

Dutch singer Esmee Denters had a 2SCchart hit awhile ago with "Outta Here", and this time she gets a little help from her mentor Justin Timberlake with "Love Dealer"...

Chicagoland band Plain White T's have strung a series of simple love songs like "Hey There Delilah" and "1,2,3,4". Adding to this is their new hit, "Rhythm Of Love"..

I can't believe I'm now introducing a band the has a member of W.A.S.P. in it. LA Metal outfit Five Finger Death Punch also includes alumni of Alice Cooper's Band, Motograter, and Anubis Rising. However imposing that all sounds though, the song is just a remake of the rock classic "Bad Company".

And now for something completely different, Taylor Swift is back with the first single from her upcoming third album, which I'm sure no matter what I'd say will sell by the truckload. Here's "Mine"...

Taylor was 12 when the last time this country singer appeared on my chart. That was 2001, and the song was "I Don't Have To Be Me ('Til Monday)". Steve Azar's new independently released CD now has a hit single with "Sunshine"...

The latest boyband hit out of the UK is the Wanted's "All Time Low", which made #1 there recently...

and finally, Virginia-based group Days Difference debuts with the adult-pop hit "Speakers"...

Now where's my lawnchair?
