twostepcub's music chart for June 25, 2010...

Good evening, it's Pride Weekend in the New York Area, and time for my fabulous top tunes for the week. This week Usher claims the top spot, while David Guetta and Chris Willis (pictured above) jump up in the top-10. Former big hits by Selena Gomez & The Scene, Mary J. Blige, Lifehouse, Kris Allen, and Debi Nova drop out, while songs by Kelly Rowland, Katy Perry, and the Zac Brown Band make the biggest moves. Link-O-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on the highlighted name of any of the artists to go to their website. Dance on...

There are nine new songs on my list, and the one that enters the highest is by dance artist Reina, from the Bronx, with a more Euro-dance-pop of "Just Let Go"...

Next up is country vocal quartet Little Big Town, with the first single from their upcoming fourth album. I still think they have the tightest harmonies in country today. Here's "Little White Church"...

French rock band Phoenix is still in my top-100 with "1901", and debuts with the followup, "Lisztomania" with its appropriate Hamburg-based video...

Wynter Gordon is a singer-songwriter from Queens, NY that was the hook-singer in Flo-Rida's top-10 Billboard hit "Sugar". Her first solo hit is her first on my chart as well. Here's the club jam "Dirty Talk"...

American Idol winner Lee DeWyze has yet to be seen here, but the previous AI winner's second single debuts, pairing him with Pat Monahan of Train (who also have two songs of their own in my top-20). Here's "The Truth"..

Speaking of Idol, no doubt one of the greatest singers from that show, Chris Daughtry, adds "September" to "Life After You" to my list...

English rapper Dizzee Rascal is back with a track that has instantly become my fave of his. It's time for the way-back machine, and "Dirtee Disco"...

Next is Brooklyn-based band Black Gold, with a song that's been used as the send-off in So You Think You Can Dance. Here's "Shine"...

and finally, from the British Virgin Islands is singer Iyaz, with his followup to "Replay", simply titled "Solo"...

Dance the good dance...
