twostepcub's music chart for september 4, 2009...

Hey guys, it's time for my tunes for the week. This week the Kings Of Leon reclaim the #1 spot for a non-consecutive third week, while Sean Kingston (pictured above) jumps into the top-10. The biggest moves come from songs by Madonna, Cobra Starship, and Keith Urban (all big moves in red), while former big hits by Lady Antebellum and Oceana drop out. Link-O-Rama is still in effect, so you can click on the highlighted name of any of the artist below to go to their website (I even fixed one here I had wrong last week, my apologies). Happy Labor Day everyone!

100. Ca M'enerve - Helmut Fritz (RE-ENTRY)

This week there are four new songs on the chart, and Helmut Fritz's "Ca M'enerve" re-enters for the third time on the list. The highest debut is by country duo Sugarland, who recently had a very positive article in ChicagoPride.com about how they are grateful of their gay and lesbian fans, and how Jennifer Nettles performed at Atlanta Pride (partner Kristian Bush also toured with the Indigo Girls). Click the highlighted link to read the interview. And here's their fourth single from their latest CD, Love On The Inside., and the last three became #1 country hits. The new one may be heading there as well, and it's called "Joey"...

Next is John Ondrasik, who performs as Five For Fighting, with his latest single, "Chances", and again it's more poster-art pontificating (but hey, it's quite pretty).

British rock band Muse, with the first single from their upcoming album The Resistance, and appropriately, called "Uprising". The get their full Queen on in this one...

And finally, it's Kelly Clarkson. Ah, Kelly. Her "I Do Not Hook Up" is still in my top-40, while her new single "Already Gone" debuts. "Already Gone", as in, the same song as Beyonce's "Halo" at #59. As in the song Kelly trashed to the media, even though she co-wrote it. Kelly, SHHHHH. No one will notice! Everything sounds the same anyway!

And as an added bonus, here's the clip for the song that re-enters for the second time, Helmut Fritz's Franco-fantastic "Ca M'enerve". Boogie down and enjoy!
