twostepcub's music chart for March 6, 2009...

It's time for my tunes for the week. This week Beyonce takes over the #1 spot, while Keith Urban (pictured above) makes it into the top-5. Lily Allen, Rascal Flatts, and U2 make the biggest moves (marked in red), while former big hits by Apocalyptica, Robin Thicke, Ultra Nate, and the Offspring drop out. Link-o-rama is in effect, so you can click on the name of any artist to go to their website. Remember to turn your clocks forward!

This week ten new songs debut, while one (Finnish dance artist Ercola's "Every Word") returns.

The highest debut is from Las Vegas band The Killers, who have their top-5 song "Human" still on the list. The latest song is "Spaceman" which reminds me of classic pre-dance New Order...

The Offspring's last single "You're Gonna Go Far, Kid" made the top-10, and just dropped off my list, to be replaced by their latest, "Kristy, Are You Doin' OK?"...

Lula has been on the scene since 1999, where she had a club hit with "Man=Drug". Her latest is her take on "Last Night A DJ Saved My Life", subtitled "While A DJ Gave Me Trouble"...

Next up is Katy Perry's third single, following the big smashes of "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot N Cold". This time it's the requisite ballad, with "Thinking Of You"...

I featured this video a bit ago, and now Bobbyblue debuts on the chart with the fabulous dance-in-your-bedroom video for "In A Song"...

Also on the dance vein is singer Muriel Fowler and her new discofied hit "Everybody Rise"...

Everybody Rise Pt.2 (Funky Junction Radio Edit) - Muriel Fowler

Lots of new dance songs coming out to warm our winter hearts, next is the Brazilian act Deep Step, with the electro hit "Promise You"...

And now for something completely different, debuting on my list is the newest single from Swedish garage-rock band Mando Diao, who have only had low-chart success in the UK, but are hitting it big in central Europe, with Top-10 placings in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, and #1 in Austria. It would fit right in on American radio as well, since it's in English. Here's Mando Diao, with "Dance With Somebody"...

Dirty rock band Buckcherry had a top-10 song with the cleaned-up "Sorry", and now comes back with another ballad..."Don't Go Away"..

And finally, country singer Jason Aldean's preview of his upcoming CD sneaks on at the bottom. Here's "She's Country"...
