twostepcub's music chart for March 13, 2009...

Another Friday the 13, went by, and hopefully nothing spooky happened to you. It's time for my tunes for the week, and this week sees Beyonce spending a second week at the top, while Kanye West (pictured above) makes it into the top-3. Former big hits by Billy Currington, Robbie Williams, and Saving Abel drop off the list, while Charlie Wilson, Carrie Underwood, and The Offspring make the biggest moves. Link-O-Rama is still in full effect, so you can click on the name of any artist to go to their website. What's that noise?

This week seven new songs debut on my chart, led up by R&B singer Brandy, whose second #1 Billboard Dance Club single from her latest album Human debuts, "Long Distance"...

Here's the original...

Tennessee band Kings Of Leon already have former top-10 "Sex On Fire" on my chart still, but debut high with a song that's already been proven a smash in Europe, hitting the top-10 in England, Holland, Belgium, and Ireland. Here's the anthemic "Use Somebody"..

Maroon5 have released a remix album, and the single pulled off of that CD, "Not Falling Apart" gets the dance treatment by SuperDJ Tiesto..

Next up is another rock band who's gone the dance route, The White Tie Affair, with "Candle (Sick & Tired)"...

Australian twin sister act the Veronicas come on with their hit "Untouched"...

French-Canadian Mylene Farmer is one of the biggest stars in France proper, and her new song "Si J'avais Au Moins" (If I Had At Least...) continues the streak. It's very ethereal and quite reminds me of Sarah Brightman.

And finally, the douchebag half of Big & Rich, John Rich, somewhat redeems himself with a song protesting the treatment of auto workers. Here's "Shutting Detroit Down"...

Take care!
