Broadway goes to rehab....

OK, I feel guilty cause I totally got this from the guru of GLBT blog, Joemygod, but it's totally worth showing to anyone who hasn't seen it. Featuring Wicked's Kristen Chenoweth...watch and laugh.

For those that missed it...

Against better judgement, I stayed awake to watch Michelle Obama's speech before the Democratic Convention last night. This was a great showcase to portray the true spirit of who will godwilling be the next first lady. I am proud.

For those for keep up the hype...

....about Hillary Clinton supporters damaging the Democratic prospects for this election with the Republicans so "unified" over philanderer/panderer/pity hack John McCain, my trip out west saw quite a few Ron Paul for President posters and lawn signs everywhere, still prominently displayed. 'Nuff said.

Cee U Next Tuesday of the week....

It's only appropriate that on the day of Hillary Clinton's speech before the Democratic Convention, that the "Cee U Next Tuesday" award of the week goes to the faux dead-enders that pretend to be Hillary Clinton supporters who are protesting the primary results in the backended attempt to ratchet support for the dried up raisin-brain that's heading the Republican party. Best obeserved here, where perennial suck-up Chris Matthews can't even stomach the false logic and unsubstantiated rumormongering this Ann-Coulter-Skeletor-wannabe is trying to put on (along with her barnicled cunty-friends, along for the ride with no clue). Watch on an empty stomach.

Notice she thinks she got away with it because she won't "reveal" her source, wanting to "email Chris the information", so the stalker idiot can have the first celebrity email in her life. Seriously, darling, we know you're a Republican plant. Any clear-headed person, male or female, that would vote again every policy position they share with the Democratic Party on some sort of spite vote (and I'm looking at you as well, Ed Rendell), is definitely a Benedict Arnold of their own values. And anyone with those views I can respect the ability to have them, but they have no business in my life. Period.

Fight fire with fire...

Here's the ad that should be running on TV right now.

Who's the "celebrity" now, bitch?

Cee U Next Tuesday of the week...

While the formidable Michael Phelps and cancer survivor Eric Shanteau display the class of the US team at the Olympics, glorified "Girls Gone Wild" ho and part-time volleyball tramp Misty May-Treanor decides to pose like she taking a giant dump as the president of our nation is implored to slap her ass. What a fucking dildo. Surprising credit to Bush for realizing "hey I'm a married man with my wife looking on while cameras are rolling" and gently tapped her back with his backhand. Classy. I hope you like the level of protocol you bring to the sport. And for your ho-partner Kerri Walsh,

Your bikini is being eaten by your ravenous ass.

On a side note,
The girls might have thought they were a virginal prize for the Make-A Wish foundation. Jesus.

This week nine new songs enter my list, starting with the singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, nee' Shaffer Smith, who has his fourth US top-10 song with the dance track "Closer", which follows the vein that Usher left behind. It's a great distillation of Usher's "Caught Up", actually.

next, Daughtry continues to mine his/their debut album for hit singles, as the seventh track to make either the rock or pop charts comes on here. "What About Now"'s video evokes the same rocker-goes-thoughtful that Van Halen mined with "Right Now"...

Mississippi-bred rock band Saving Abel debuts with "Addicted", for those who are into the Puddle-of-Mudd thing...

Jason Aldean's third single from his second album is the churning title track, "Relentless"...

also on the country tip, post-reality-show country singer Chuck Wicks is back with a dramatically better tune than the treacly "Stealing Cinderella". Here's "All I Ever Wanted"...

The classic Siouxsie & The Banshees song "Cities In Dust" gets a dance makeover by Junkie XL...

Delta Goodrem is a star Down Under, but this Australian chanteuse is still just breaking through in the states, here with the lovely "In This Life"...

Brad Paisley resurrects an album cut from a previous release for his newest single, here's "Waitin' On A Woman"..

Finally, the Pussycat Dolls are back, with the lyrically trite but danceable nonetheless "When I Grow Up"...

This week's two top debuts are by pop artists that have surprisingly made quite respectable debut country singles. First off is Hootie & The Blowfish lead singer Darius Rucker, with "Don't Think I Don't Think About It", from his upcoming album Learn To Live...

Pop-diva gone reality-show pin-up come country singer Jessica Simpson is back with a breezy new single, "Come On Over"....

And in the past couple of months we've seen three Cyrus' on my chart - first daddy Billy Ray (with daughter Miley) on "Ready Set, Don't Go", next Miley herself with "See You Again", and now Miley's half-brother (and Billy Ray's stepson) Trace debuts with his band Metro Station with the new-wavish "Shake It"...

Trace was born in 1989 - the next artist was born in 1933! Yes, it's 78-year-old Yoko Ono, with a remake/remix of the classic (and timely) "Give Peace A Chance"...

Give Peace A Chance (DJ Dan Vocal Mix) - Yoko Ono

Staying on the dance tip, DJ Chris "The Greek" Panaghi is back with the bumpin' "My Life"...

My Life (Josh Harris Radio Edit) - Chris "the Greek" Panaghi

Next up, a song from a "reality show" star, but not American Idol - it's Dancing With The Stars' Julianne Hough with "That Song In My Head"...

Finally, country crooner George Strait places his umpteenth record here with the title song from his latest album, Troubadour (here in a fan video)...

solidarity, brothers!
