Great clips, part 2.....

Of course, I wouldn't have seen any of these without checking the great Bob Geiger's column - which is cool enough but on Saturdays he does the Saturday Morning Funnies - please go check him out....

Best commercial ever........

Wow. Why are the best political "commercials" not commercials but homemade ones?

Hey everybody, it's time for my tunes for the week. This week, Rihanna spends a third week at the summit, while Jennifer Hudson (pictured above) makes it into the top-5. Songs by Apocalyptica, Secondhand Serenade, and Tami Chynn make the biggest jumps, while former big hits by Jason Aldean, Foo Fighters, Maroon5, Antoine Clamaran, Solange, Jesse McCartney, and Keith Anderson drop out. Link-O-Rama is still in full effect, so you can click on the name of any artist to go to their website (rightclick and you can more easily bring it up in another tab or window). Peace out. UPDATE: Prayers go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family, who were victim to a horrible crime, with Hudson's mother and brother being shot, and her nephew missing... Tweety's on FY-AH!

I've been lax, but a bit guilty. I was ready to make up a "Cee U Next Tuesday" special triple-award for the week, since the republican idiot trifecta of Nancy Pfotenhauer, Michelle Bachmann, and their pageant queen Ms. Informed Sarah Palin, I felt like I was ready for too much seeming ve-jay-jay hate. That's by far not the case, except in the case of these three. I'll expound more later, but in the meantime, I've been enjoying Palin's trip in the waters answering a simple question about what her JOB is that she's running for, and giving a wrong answer to even that. Here's Chris Matthews, who usually works me cause he's a little too "for the game", schooling botox-face Nancy Pfotenhauer who looks like she's having an aneurysm defending Palin's answer. Watch in awe.

Ho! HaHa! Guard! Turn! Parry! Dodge! Spin! Ha! Thrust!

The State of the McCain campaign at this point.... Which always elicits such reaction in myself... Ha Ha! it IS to laugh!

Levi Stubbs (Bottom left) with the Four Tops It's a sad day in music today, as the great Levi Stubbs, lead singer of the Four Tops, passed away at the age of 72 . When I was a child I adored the Tops (and by no means were they the thing in the early to mid-1980's), and "Bernadette" is in the top-5 of my favorite songs of all time. In fact I considered "Reach Out, I'll Be There"/"Standing In The Shadows Of Love"/"Bernadette" the "holy trinity" of pop music. I carried their Anthology double-cassette in my Walkman with me everywhere, and their music has lifted my spirits and soothed my pain for decades. I regret not seeing them live. Morning deep thought....

Does Todd Palin even work anymore? With all the shit about he being a union guy and all, he sure ain't minding any business up there, and he sure isn't there to nanny the baby (that's apparently the 7-year-old's job)... Maybe that's why he has so much time to play Desperate Housewife in Alaska to get his ex-brother-in-law canned? Corallary to deep thought - When is the network news going to give equal time to Palin's involvement with the secessionist Alaskan Independence Party?

Philly, you didn't let me down...

Got home, and got to see the reaction at the Wachovia Center for VP shitbag Sarah Palin attempting a freebie by dropping the puck....resounding boos... (nice trying to use one of your spawn to try to shield you) Fuck you, Snider, for putting them there in the first place. I only wish I could've been there with an Obama/Biden placard myself. Meanwhile, in reality land here's Obama doing the real deal in Philly earlier today..

OK, NOW can we say she's an idiot?

Here's Sarah Palin's SAT record . She scored an 841 out of 1600. Let me put it this way. The theortical lowest score you can get at that time is a 400. This explains her chosen ignorance to facts and "Mean Girls" high-school girl philosophy. This is who you want leading our country?

Cindy McCain, go the $&%# away!

Cindy McCain, you drug-addled bitch , how DARE you question Obama for voting against a bill for troop funding because it excludes a timeline, just as your flaccid fuckball of a husband voting against a troop funding that DID include a timeline! Take your botoxed ugly-ass face out of Pennsylvania, and stick those overpriced "shoes" you want to switch up your bony diapered ass! You have absolutely no class, and deserve to be in JAIL for the shit you pulled. At least when Obama serves on a charity board, he doesn't steal drugs to feed their fucking addiction, you idiot. And if you had such a "chill", why didn't you tell him yourself at the debate? Because you are a coward, and always will be. Have I made myself clear? And for a more polite discourse on the evil practices of Palin politics, John Eskow's article on Huffingtonpost is definitely worth a read.. here's just a piece... Sarah Palin's mouth is where logic goes to die. She makes The Stepfo

Republican douchebag of the week....

Fuck the Philadelphia Flyers. Repeat, FUCK them. Ed Snider, owner of the Flyers, has injected politics into hockey by inviting self-described "hockey-mom" and proven hate-mongerer Sarah Palin to "drop the puck" at the upcoming Flyers-Rangers game this coming Saturday in his arena - an arena that consqeuently that was financed with the help of taxpayer money. And this is while and Palin-McCain coward show has been travelling around Pennsyltucky promoting a false "domestic terrorist" connection from Obama serving on a charitable board set up by the Republican Annenberg family with Joseph Ayres, a former militant activist who has (even beyond the tenuous connection) paid his debt to society for any wrongdoing and is a vital member of the University Of Illinois faculty anyway. People have been driven to chants of "terrorist" and "Kill him!" and "off with his head" at their Nazi-ist rallies. Infusing a sports event with this shall

More deep thoughts...

What war does McCain know how to win? Last time I checked, we kind of LOST Vietnam. And what the fuck is the "WE know what evil is" bullshit? Like no one else can? I just can't tell if she's either mentally challenged or socially stunted. One thing for sure, if their was a Pride Parade for stupid people, she'd be Grand Marshall.

Watching the debate last night was like watching a history teacher debating a brain stem.
