The Speech...

I implore you to listen completely to Barack Obama's speech from Philadelphia. One of the most thoughtful insights on America's issue with race I've ever heard.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

An oldie, but I couldn't resist... I see leprechauns!

Reason #680 why Republicans are criminals.

Taken from the annual media reacharound called the Gridirons Dinner, in DC... Bush himself serenading America about his true fucking values. Fucking dick. He needs to be in jail.

Let me re-introduce myself, I am David Paterson, and I'm the Governor of New York

David Paterson was sworn in as the 55th Governor of New York today. I'm sure to a lot of people this is the first time he's been heard. From these two clips from his speech, I'm really impressed. The first part admittedly is like an Oscar acceptance speech, but he has enough humor to get everyone's attention. Part 2 is the meat. With his call to come together, and his urgency on current situations, at least bode well for New York. Washington, listen... Part 1.... Part 2... (love the quote near the end where he says "I think you all know that I know a little bit about blazing one's way in the dark...")
